About Us

 Hearts of Wheels (HOW) was birthed in 2016 by visionary, Larry Savage, Sr.  Larry has spent much of his life working and supporting young people who have insurmountable hurdles, from exiting foster care to lack of essential resources.  A primary hurdle is reliable transportation.  Without transportation, it is difficult for young people to maintain employment.  HOW is a non-profit organization that provides young people access to transportation that will enhance job and educational opportunities, as well as, learn skills to ensure future success. 

Hearts of Wheels (HOW) is dedicated to removing transportation barriers for young adults. Since 2016, we have focused on providing reliable vehicles, car insurance referrals, and support to foster independence and career growth. Our goal is to help marginalized youth access better educational and employment opportunities.
